Class VII Road Postings

Vehicles above 26,001lbs require a permit

Driving around the downtown area, you may have noticed that some of the roads have new signs.  The chosen roadways have greatly depreciated with the heavier weighted vehicles that have taken to passing on them regularly.  The Board of Selectman have put into place a  measure in which to maintain the safety for our citizens and all who travel our roadways.  Please make note that any truck that is over the 26,001 lb weight limit, will need a permit in place before they are able to travel on the roadway. If you would like to obtain a permit, please call the Highway Department: (603) 755-4884.
